Our History

Booth Lumber Company was started in the roaring 20's and operated as a lumber mill and retailer to tradesmen and contractors. The company maintained this emphasis until the large volume lumber companies began selling on the retail market in the 1950's.

To adjust to this new shift, Booth Lumber sought out a more specialized niche. They moved to our current location to allow for the production of specialized industrial wood applications. These included the supply of green hardwoods (primarily from green oak) for trucking, dock applications, bender boards, and the production of huge S4S support beams (primarily from Douglas fir stock). In January of 2006 Booth Lumber came under new management.

Third Coast Hardwoods, Jim Mann, owner - Offering 20 years in the flooring business, bringing a large inventory of exotic woods - from hard-to -find domestic woods to tropical rainforest woods. He is importing large volumes of Greenheart - the world's best marine wood, as well as other species for applications from docks, decks, flooring and fine furniture.

Houston Hardwoods, Fred Glazier, owner -Bringing state-of-the-art milling equipment that can process rough timbers into the finest of finished products. Fred has been involved in both the building and production facets of construction for many years. He possesses vast and applicable knowledge of woods.
